There is some momentum now
Now that the buyers are moving forward with inspections and appraisals, we need to get our act together to get the land ready for us to make a permanent move to it.

This week ends on a high note with our home inspection being completed and the potential buyers only asking us to fix some GFCI outlets. We have a licensed and insured electrician coming out per the buyer’s request. The next hurdle is the appraisal and hopefully, the market will be in our favor for this next major milestone. The plan was to list the house under market value for the area knowing that the house needed some repairs and upgrades. But it seems the market in our area dropped the week we put it up for sale. Everyone keep your fingers crossed and say a little prayer if you can.
In other news, we ended up at our land for three nights last weekend, which was awesome. We spent most of Saturday and Sunday cutting grass. Initially had issues with one of the tractor tires going flat and as I went to put air in it I realized that the air valve had sheared off the tire. So I had to run into town and I figured while I was there I would pick up some tools I needed to change the AC clutch in my truck. After I get back to the land and started fixing the tire on the tractor I remembered that the plug on my big air compressor was not compatible with the generator we are using for power. Back into town I go. I go to the big box store and get the needed supplies to hook my air compressor to the generator so I can fix the tire. I get all of that taken care of and then turn my attention to the truck's AC and lo and behold the universal tools don’t work on my truck. Had to do a little digging but I have the right tools coming some time next week.
Since the grass was cut and the repairs on the truck were on hold, I turned my attention on the location for the shed pad. I started using the root rake on the tractor to start clearing the roots and foliage to get down to clean dirt. There is still a lot to do to get the area ready before we call out someone to start prepping for concrete. We were also in contact with the company we are wanting to use to supply us with the metal building we plan to construct for our first building. Everything seems to be moving along at a much faster pace and we are happy for the change.
