The first building for the land is on order while we take on some foster cats in our temporary living arrangements

Let us start with the exciting news! Our building is ordered and will ship in the next few weeks! We finalized the colors and other options, such as the door and window locations, put our deposit down, and got the ball rolling. This is a huge step for us as it will be the first major change to the land and will help us get settled on our land as we are staying at Sarah's parents' second house at the moment. This also gives us the needed paperwork for us to pull permits so we can get power run to the land. I’m really tired of running a generator whenever we stay out there at the moment.

We also had some equipment dropped off that will make our lives a little easier as we build. One of those things is a pallet fork attachment for the tractor to help with moving things around more easily and to help unload trucks and trailers once we start getting shipments in. Another tool we got is a laser level with a receiver for shooting levels at long distances. We also ordered us some new camera equipment to help us document our building process.

Other than that, Theo has settled into his broken arm and is doing well. He has gotten really good at milking the injury into his favor and getting things he wants. Sarah has started to homeschool the kids as she waits for the rest of the books needed for the kids' curriculum. Besides that, we have taken the week to relax and to adjust into our current living situation and to allow ourselves to destress. Not much progress on the land this week but we hope to start ramping up in the following weeks and with that start recording our progress and putting it on YouTube so make sure to subscribe to our channel.

In other news, before we sold the house, we were fostering two kittens. Sarah's mom agreed to house the kittens while trying to find them new homes while we moved out of the house. We didn’t plan on taking them with us to our temporary housing as we would be limited to how much space we would have available with us, the kids, and the dogs. We found out that the cats have been living in a spare bathroom for the last several weeks and have not had the opportunity to stretch their legs like they should be able to. So now we have the cats with us too. So if you would like some sweet little kittens just let us know.
